OPINION - Sunday, October 2, 2011
Class activities for Sunday October 2
- Shared Titanpad documents
- Surveymonkey for both classes
Homework assigned Sunday Oct 2, due Tue October 4
Absolute deadline for revision was Sunday Oct 9
On Page 36 and 38 of your Zemach and Rumisek book you have two exercises which ask you to write paragraphs. Ex 11 says to read the model paragraphs and then write your opinion about one of these topics: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VK75CDF. Ex 16 says to ask yourself "What do I want my reader to think or to do?" In class we brainstormed some ideas, you started a topic, and you got feedback on your ideas from another person in the class.
For Tuesday, Oct 4, complete the paragraph you started, or write on one of the above topics, and share it with your teacher. In your paragraph use some modal auxiliary verbs and causal adverbs such as because, since, so, therefore, etc. Submit your work by sharing it as a Google Doc with vancestev@gmail.com
